Fortunately,\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eAntidotes\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eis able to live up to the hype. Frontman Yannis Philippakis uses his limited vocal range to his greatest advantage, moving from yelps to half-whispered singing depending on the intensity of the piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe album may have only two types of songs: the faster, punchier ones and the slower, spacier ones. However,\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFoals\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ekeep melody and hookiness at the forefront of their minds, adding a sense of cohesion to the record.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eProducer Dave Sitek introduced saxophones, ambient keyboards, and occasional electronic elements to the\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFoals\u003c\/strong\u003e' arrangements, which worked well and prevented the tracks from completely blending into one another.
