IRON MAIDEN "Somewhere In Time" 2024 UK/EU 8-track LP.  Remastered in 2015 at Bernie Grundman Mastering and pressed on heavyweight black vinyl. Originally released in 1986, including the singles Wasted Years and Stranger In A Strange Land, plus the excellent Heaven Can Wait and The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner. Picture sleeve with cover art by Derek Riggs, this time featuring a cyborg-enhanced Eddie in a futuristic Blade Runner-inspired environment.

"Somewhere in Time" contains more than a few crowd pleasers, such as the ferocious album opener, 'Caught Somewhere in Time', the pacey 'Heaven Can Wait' as well as softer singles 'Wasted Years' and 'Stranger in a Strange Land'. As with the band's preceding studio release, 'Powerslave', another masterful composition closes the album, in this case, the sprawling 'Alexander the Great'. This album explores new musical territory with the addition of synthesizers, while maintaining its trademarks - galloping bass, heavy guitar riffs, and operatic vocals.
